Biographical details
Thevi N. was killed, along with other innocent civilians, in the illegal attack by the Sri Lankan military in
Anandaphuram. The attack was carried out using outlawed chemical weapons.

Description
Since September 2008, Sri Lankan Government banned access for all the independent monitors, humanitarian workers including UN and the media to the combat zone (Vanni) and systematically isolated the combat zone (Vanni) from the outside world and waged a genocidal war without any witness. These acts exposed the external manifestations of the internal motives to dissipate the ethnic identity of Tamils.
During the last war in Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan military used illegal weapons to systematically exterminate innocent Tamils. Thevi N. also died in this genocide against the Tamil population.
Legal situation (investigation/criminal proceedings)
Those crimes and ethnic destroying acts committed by the successive Sri Lankan government have not been investigated nor condemned.
