Description
People witnessed three truck loads of Sinhala thugs being brought to the Trincomalee town even prior to this explosion. These began robbing the business premises belonging to the Tamils and set them alight. Soon attacks on Tamils started. Guns and machetes were in these attacks. Most of the Tamils who were in Town for the April new year shopping were killed.
