Description
Vasuki Rasaiah and her father were murdered during a bomb attack set up by the Sri- Lankan air force in Murasumoddai. The Sri-Lankan air force did not differentiate between military and civil ambitions. Many outlawed ammunition such as cluster bombs and phosphorus- bombs were used during the raid, killing many civil people. The commander in chief for these attacks was the current president of Sri- Lanka, Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Legal situation (investigation/criminal proceedings)
Accountability as well as further investigations were not taken. The soldiers and the officers who are responsible for the death of many people were not charged for their actions.
