Description
Thamilini and her parents had been killed during the shelling attack in the ”safe zone” by Srilankan forces. She escaped with her family to the safe zone where the srilankan army actually had promised not to attack but they took advantage of this and killed many tamil civilians.
Legal situation (investigation/criminal proceedings)
So far, the srilankan government has not been held accountable for human rights violations.
