Description
Ms. Nagulambhal Kanagasabapathipillai was killed in a Sri Lankan Air Force bombing in Mullivaikal. This area was considered a security zone, in which a bomb attack took place regardless of this proclaimed security zone. Illegal ammunition was used in the attacking as well. The current president Gotabaya Rajapaksa was responsible for this and other attacks.
Legal situation (investigation/criminal proceedings)
No one was held accountable nor was there a trial. The soldiers in charge or the Sri Lankan officers who commanded it, were not convicted.
