Description
She was killed by a shell that landed just outside her house during an attack in Muthur.
Sri Lankan Air Force fighter jets bombed more than 35,000 innocent civilians who were emigrating from Trincomalee, Muttur and Eechilampatru towards Vaharai. Many were also attacked whilst crossing the Verugal River by boat.
I t is worth noting that 17 humanitarian workers of the French Organization Against Hunger (ACF) were killed by the Sri Lankan Army on 4th August 2006 in the Muttur area.
